To recognize the valuable contribution of private schools in strengthening and elevating the quality of education, the Federation of Private Schools and Associations of Punjab (FAP) introduced a professional and transparent evaluation process to assess and acknowledge the performance of private schools. The FAP National Awards 2022 was a unique initiative designed to recognize private schools across India that demonstrated excellence across various parameters, including academics, sports, infrastructure, facilities, innovation, and overall educational development.
The awards aimed not only to honor schools that had achieved outstanding milestones but also to inspire and encourage other institutions to continuously improve and strive for excellence. By creating a platform for recognition and healthy competition, FAP sought to promote higher standards in school education across the country.
The FAP National Awards were open to private schools across India. Registration was free for FAP member schools, while each participating school could apply under one award category. The prestigious event was graced by distinguished personalities, including Hon'ble Governor of Haryana Shri Bandaru Dattatreya Ji, Padma Shri Surjit Patar Ji, Padma Shri Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal Ji, Captain of the Indian Men's Hockey Team Manpreet Singh, and Chairman of PSEB Mohali Shri Yograj Ji. The event brought together private schools from rural and urban areas of Punjab on a common platform to recognize their achievements and contributions.
The FAP State Awards 2021 felicitated 700+ schools and teachers, acknowledging their efforts in strengthening the education system. Beyond recognition, the awards provided an opportunity for schools to reflect on their institutional strengths and areas for improvement.
