▪ Domain knowledge is not the only thing needed for leadership. For an effective leader of educational institution communication skills, adaptability, vision, empathy, problem solving are very important.
▪ We are busy as we think we are too busy. It's important to switch off our minds to reflect and take a break. Hence, meditation is very important for humans, particularly the ones who want to become successful leaders.
▪ Teachers are very calm by nature. They are respected by all and have a goodwill in society. Also, their dynamism and thinking out of the box helps them stand out.
▪ Combining calmness, goodwill and empathy makes an individual an exceptional leader.
▪ Traits like calmness, empathy are not taught in school. It is pertinent that such traits are discussed about by teachers to inspire students to be leaders.
▪ A student should be able to learn to be a leader by looking at the mannerism of his/her teachers and principal.
▪ It is important to inspire the people who are following us.
▪ The biggest quality of leadership is calmness. MS Dhoni is a classical example who took Indian team to great heights under his captaincy.
▪ Calmness shows that one's mind is not ruffled. This helps in taking organised and rational decisions thus helping the cause of work.
▪ Mark Zuckerberg's mother is the only mother in the world who asks her son to spend more time on social media. Thus, we must learn to manage our time and use less of social media to devote time to ourselves.
▪ No student reports about Cyber Bullying as they fall in the trap and that makes life very tough.
